Frederick G. Voshel
Frederick G. Voshel, 78, of Williamstown passed away at 10:30 pm, Wednesday, October 30, 2019, at Cedar Grove in Parkersburg.
He was born June 12, 1941, in Marietta a son of the late James William Voshel and Leora Waterman Voshel.
Fred was a veteran of the U. S. Army and a member of Marietta First Baptist Church. He owned and operated Voshel’s Furniture and Auction Service. He loved his grandchildren and enjoyed Nascar.
Fred is survived by his son Michael Voshel, daughters Heather (Casey) Bules and Courtney Voshel all of Williamstown; stepson Jammie (Shannon) Joseph of Christiansted, VI; 3 grandchildren: Christian, Marina and Krystyanna and 2 brothers, Bill Voshel and Walter Voshel both of Marietta.
He was preceded in death by his wife Doris Voshel, parents and one son Frederick Voshel, Jr.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday (Nov. 9) at 10:30 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home. Family will greet friends at the funeral home on Friday (Nov. 8) from 2-4 and 6-8. Messages of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.Lankfordfh.com.
