Gale D. Walters
Gale D. Walters, 59, of Dalzell passed away at 5:05 pm, Monday, June 10, 2019, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born April 5, 1960, in Marietta a son of Gilbert and Dessie Pryor Walters.
Gale worked in the construction business and enjoyed working with his hands—stone carving, working on cars and later in life quilting, following his mother’s example.
Gale is survived by 2 sons, Ryan David Walters and Cory Daniel Walters and former wife Jewel Walters all of Marietta. He is also survived by 3 brothers and 2 sisters: Donna Krigbaum of Devola, Darlene Fleeman of Lebanon, Dale Walters of Dalzell, Roger Walters of Dalzell, Russ Walters of Marietta and special friends, Shauna and Dave Bigley.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers: Ronnie in 2007, Randy in 2003 and Gary in 1949.
Funeral services will be held on Friday (June 14) at 11:00 am at McClure Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home. Family will greet friends before the service on Friday from 9 until 11. Messages of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.Lankfordfh.com.
