Larry D. Goodwin
Larry D. Goodwin, 71, of Marietta passed away Monday, July 1, 2019, at his home. He was born November 1, 1947, in Marietta a son of Chester R. and Effie Johnson Goodwin.
Larry attended Marietta High School and was a U. S. Army veteran serving in Vietnam. He was a life member of VFW Post 5108 and DAV. He was a Cleveland sports fan.
On December 25, 1980, he married Tammy Anderson who survives with children: Wendy Goodwin, Raymond Goodwin and Nancy Goodwin (Jeremy) Emerick; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He is also survived by 2 brothers, Jerry and Phil Goodwin and sister, Arlene Miller.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son Larry D. Goodwin II, brother Chester Paul Goodwin and sister Maxine Schneeberger.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday (July 6) at 11:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home. Family will greet friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8. Messages of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.Lankfordfh.com.
In lieu of flowers the family asks memorial contributions be made the funeral home to assist with expenses.
