Marilyn Faye Ritchie
Marilyn Faye Ritchie, 66, of Whipple passed away at 1:00pm on Friday, February 1, 2013, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born on November 25, 1946, in Marietta to Christian John Lauer and Wanita Schramm Lauer. She retired from Marietta Center after 25 years of service and was a member of Wagner Union Church.
On October 27, 1968, she married Roger Ritchie who survives with 1 daughter, Stephanie Dawn Cortez and friend Rob from Lake Park, GA; 3 brothers: Larry, Gale and Dale Lauer all of Whipple.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Lester and Gary Lauer.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday (Feb. 5) at 10:30 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Gene Ferrell officiating. Burial will be in Valley Cemetery.
