Marjorie G. Reed
Marjorie G. Reed, 96, of Jaycees Estates passed away at 2:30am on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Harmar Place. She was born August 28, 1921, in Germantown, Ohio to Manuel and Icie Miller Hendershot. She was a homemaker.
On August 7, 1943, she married Robert Reed who preceded her in death. She is survived by one son and one daughter: David (Jenny) Reed and Brenda (Dom) DeGori both of Marietta; 4 grandchildren: Camille Collier, Robert DeGori, Mark DeGori (Melissa), Kasi Taylor (Roger); 4 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Jessie Kehl, Fay Wittekind, Goldie Myers and brother Brady Hendershot.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday (April 14) at 1:30 at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with interment following in East Lawn Memorial Park. Family will greet friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8. Messages of sympathy may be sent to the family at Lankfordfh.com.
