Mary E. Nolan

Mary Elizabeth (Ahart) Nolan, 86, of Williamstown passed away May 1, 2019 at Marietta Memorial Hospital surrounded by family to join her adored husband and her heavenly father.

She was born November 23,1932 to the late George Edison and Dorothy Eloise Yoho Ahart.

She was a member of the Sixth and Washington Streets Church of Christ. She graduated from Parkersburg High School in 1950 and worked as an administrative assistant at several businesses before retiring as a legal assistant.

She will be remembered by family and friends, her two daughters Juanita (Jerry) Tanner of Boaz, Brenda (Kevin) Lell of Marietta, grandson Josh Lell of Williamstown and step-grandson Wyatt Tanner of Columbus,OH ,her sister Linda (Dennis) Affolter of Mineral Wells, sisters-in law Linda Ahart and Wilma Ahart, her sister Evelyn’s children who were like her own and many other nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband of 63 years, H. Ray Nolan on July 18,2015 and brothers Bill and Jim Ahart, sisters Evelyn Nolan and Pat Montgomery and an infant sister Janet Ahart.

Funeral services will be held at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home in
Marietta at 11:00 am on Monday (May 6) with burial following in Riverview Cemetery in Williamstown. Visitation will be before the service on Monday from 10 until 11. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
