Mary Louise Dye
Mary Louise Dye, 91, of Marietta passed away February 4, 2013 at Harmar Place.
Born on March 7, 1921 in Marietta to Walter D. and Anna Wentzel Lauer, Mary was a 1940 graduate of Newport High School. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting knitting and gardening.
Mary is survived by three children Mary Jean Bosworth (Bill), Loretta Sue Kern (Jim) and Russell E. Dye, Jr. (Michele) all of Marietta. Eight grandchildren: Bill Bosworth (Laura); Hannah and Molly Kern; and John Dye (Ashley), Kelli Dye, Kristen Lang (Kyle), Jamie and Cassie Dye. Six great-grandchildren Madison, Peyton and Kennedy Bosworth; Chad and Blake Lang; and Aubrey Dye. One brother Calvin Lauer of St. Marys; two sisters-in-law Libby and Ann Lauer.
She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-two years Russell E. (Gene) Dye, her parents and four brothers Homer, Harold, Walter G. and Noble Lauer.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday (Feb. 7) at 10:30 a.m. at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
