Michael A. Douglas

Michael A. Douglas, 52, of Marietta passed away Monday, June 3, 2019. He was born June 3, 1967 to the late James E. and Carolyn Edgar Douglas.

Michael was employed by the Washington County Highway Department and was a member of the Little Muskingum Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

On September 12, 2014, he married Barbara Sayres who survives with 2 daughters, Manda and Michaela Douglas, several aunts and uncles and several friends that he considered brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Friday (June 7) at 10:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with interment following in Newport Cemetery. Family will greet friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8. Messages of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.Lankfordfh.com.
