Michael Lee Owens

Michael Lee Owens, 53, of Marietta passed away Sunday, May 24, 2020, at Beverly Nursing & Rehab. He was born April 19, 1967, to Earl W. Owens and Patricia Green Owens Beebe of Marietta at Camden Clark Hospital, Parkersburg.

Michael proudly worked for 5 years at Marietta Wal-Mart. He never gave up the dream of returning to work for them. He was a member of Salome Masonic Lodge. He loved woodworking, his truck, his family and many friends.

He leaves behind his mother, his brother and partner in crime Earl W. Owens II (Ronda) of Marietta his twin sister, Missy Owens Tomblin (Okey) of Barboursville, WV, his step-mom Betty Owens of Pt. Pleasant, WV, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and countless kids he loved as his own. They were all very special to him.

He was preceded in death by his father, 2 older sisters, Darla Owens, Joseph and Geneva Dawn Owens, and all four grandparents: Earl and Tressa Owens and Thurmond and Emily Green.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, May 28, from 10:00 until 12:00 at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home. A private family only service will be held later that day. Messages of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.Lankfordfh.com.
