Norma Jean O’Curran
Norma Jean O’Curran, 72, of Marietta passed away on Monday, March 29, 2021, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born on April 27, 1948 in East Liverpool, OH, a daughter of Ernest and Nellie Conner Holland.
Norma graduated from Marietta High School, Class of 1966 and was a homemaker. In 1978, she married John O’Curran who preceded her in death in 1989.
Norma is survived by her children: Amy (Jim) Barber of Reedsville, Mary (Yavel) O’Curran-Lopez of Marietta; grandsons: Donovan, Jake and Lane Barber of Reedsville and Kai and Elijah Lopez of Marietta; sister, Linda Shaffer of Marietta and multiple nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister Hazel Freeman, brother Clifford Holland, sister-in-law and brother-in-law.
Private graveside services will be held in Newport Cemetery. McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home is assisting the family and messages of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.Lankfordfh.com.
