Opal McMahon
Opal McMahon, 78, of Colonial Drive, died at 6:22 pm on Thursday, October 30, 2008, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
She was born on December 9, 1929, in Washington County to Albert Kuehn and Flora Lightfritz. She was a member of VFW Auxiliary and had been employed at Marietta Memorial Hospital as a LPN.
She was married to Ervin J. McMahon who preceded her in death. She is survived by 4 sons and 2 daughters: Lewis and Ken McMahon of Marietta, Don McMahon of Canton, Russell McMahon, Joyce and Melinda McMahon of Marietta, 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, 1 sister, 2 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1:30 pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial in Gravel Bank Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2:00 pm on Monday.
