Ruby Ellen Carpenter

Ruby Ellen Carpenter, 89 of Marietta, pass away July 8, 2019 at Arcadia Nursing Home in Coolville. She was born March 13, 1930 in Bristol, WV to Virgil and Mary (Haddix) Furner.

Ruby was married to John R. Carpenter who preceded her in death May 27, 1993.

Surviving are her children Linda Wells of Coolville, Larry Carpenter of Marietta and Kenneth Carpenter of Stockport, 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Ruby was preceded in death by a brother Dempsey Furner.

Visitation will be held at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home on Thursday July 11th from 9am to 11am followed by a graveside service at Evergreen North Cemetery. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
