Ruth Ann Brown Marsee

Ruth Ann Brown Marsee 76 of Reno went to her heavenly home on March 10, 2020 at Marietta Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

She was born August 10, 1943 to Fred and Leota Brown in Canton, OH. Ruth Ann graduated from Marietta High School in 1961.

She married Willard Lee Marsee Sr. on November 24, 1961. Ruth Ann was a member of the Marietta Church of God, where she taught Sunday School and Jr. church for many years. She enjoyed embroidery, reading her bible, and singing to gospel music. Spending time with her family, kids and grandkids gave her great joy.

She is survived by her children Winona Marsee, Willard L Marsee Jr., Teresa Crane, Veronica (Roger) Clark, Catherine (Dave) Hasley, James (Debbie) Marsee and Dorothy (Lee) Dunn. Eight Grandchildren Heather, Samantha and Chris Marsee, Dwight Crane, Alisha and Cody (Taylor) Clark, Abigail and Michael Dunn. Six Great Grandchildren Temperance Marsee, Ahnyah Clark, Camryn Hart, Lexus, Grant and Rogan Clark. Sisters Wilma Hensler, Linda Daily, Martha Wise and Brother Don (Eileen) Brown and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Willard L. Marsee Sr., her parents, one sister Opal Brown and one grandson Matthew Dunn.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday (March 14) at 1:00 pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Hess officiating. Burial will follow in Barker Cemetery.
