Sarah J. Stewart
Sarah J. Stewart, 75, of Marietta passed away 2:18 pm Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
She was born April 14, 1944 in Newark, Ohio to the late Thomas Joseph and Mary (Rauch) Hannigan. She was a graduate of Middleport High School, a 1983 graduate of Ohio University Magna Cum Laude. She worked at Ohio University as Administrative Secretary to the Dean of the School of Journalism and was Administrative Assistant to the Dean of Arts and Sciences when she left Ohio University.
On May 16, 1964, Sarah married Samuel Stewart who survives with children: Patrick (Geri Bowden) Stewart of Adrian, MI, Jennifer (John) Barbret of Mundelein, IL, Catherine “Casi” Stewart of Marietta; brothers and sisters: Barbara (Robert) Morris, Margie (Robert) Engle, Lawrence (Shirley) Hannigan, Terrence Hannigan, Sharon (Dave) Kesselring and many nieces and nephews.
