Thelma Hasley

Thelma Hasley, 78 of Rural Valley was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 28, 2013 surrounded by her loving family.

She was the loving wife of the late Robert N. Hasley, devoted mother of Debbie Wallace, Vicky (Frank) Henderson, Roberta (Jim) Harvey, Jim (Cindy) Hasley and Jeff (Trudy) Hasley; Sister of Harvey Cottrill and Maryann Proctor of Ohio, Half-Sister of Emma Roberts of FL and Carol and Lola Lewis of PA; Loving grandmother of 18 and great grandmother of 12.
She was the daughter of the late Paris Cottrill and Edith Puffinburger. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Brother – Harold Cottrill and half-sister – Nora Bridges.
 
Thelma loved bowling and was a lifetime member of the U.S. bowling Congress. She was also the treasurer of Ford City Bowling Association, elected in Ford City Hall of Fame, bowled in Wednesday and Thursday Leagues at Kings, Tuesday league at Greendale and was a member of the 600 club. She enjoyed playing Bingo at Nicktown, talking bus trips to the casinos with her best friend Marge, but most of all Thelma enjoyed family gatherings. She had her Yorkie Tigger and Parrot Nosey.
 
Friends may call at the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc., 724 Main St. Rural Valley, PA 16249 on Wednesday January 30, 2013 from 2-5 & 7-9 PM. A Blessing Service will be held at 9 PM. Additional Visitation will be held at the McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home in Marietta, OH on Friday, January 31 from 9 – 11 AM. Burial will be in the Barker Cemetery.
