Virginia Lee Lemasters
Virginia Lee Lemasters, 85, of Marietta passed away at noon on Thursday, January 4, 2018, at her home. She was born January 23, 1932, a daughter of Ernest R. and Mioma Poling.
Virginia was a switchboard operator for Ohio Bell Telephone Company and was a member of Tunnel United Methodist Church.
On February 28, 1954, she married Robert W. Lemasters who survives with one son, Roy A. (Lori) Lemasters and 2 daughters, Teresa A. (Stephen) Ritchie and Patsy L. Hasley all of Marietta; 5 grandchildren: Derrick Lemasters, Katelyn Lemasters, Cheyenne Lemasters, Daniel (Kara) Ritchie and Jennifer Hasley; 4 great grandchildren: Alexis Godfrey, Aiden Hasley, Eric Ritchie and Gavin Lemasters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters.
Funeral service will be held on Monday (Jan. 8) at 1:00 pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with interment following in Tunnel Cemetery. Family will greet friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8. Messages of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.Lankfordfh.com.
