Wilda L. Eddy

Wilda L. Eddy, 90, of Marietta passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2019, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born on July 28, 1929, in Milltown (Newport) a daughter of Charles E. and Myrna Alberta King Martin.

Wilda was a 1947 graduate of Lawrence High School. She enjoyed being a homemaker and was a beloved wife and mother. She was an avid Reds fan and was proud to be a “poll worker” during elections. She was a member of Evergreen Bible Church.

On November 27, 1948, she married Oran Eddy who preceded her in death on June 6, 2010. She is survived by her children: Roger (Linda) Eddy, Deanna (Herb) Williams and David (Susan) Eddy; grandchildren: Jessica Lewis, Janelle Cooke, Jeremy Williams, Caleb Eddy, Cory Eddy, Jamie Eddy, Madison Stewart, Derek Beaver and Kimarie Beaver; great grandchildren: Josie Hooper, Mitchell Cooke, Annalise Cooke and Raven Stewart.

Her brothers, Gerald Martin and Dale Martin, preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (Nov. 20) at 2:00 pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Thibault officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.
