Lloyd R. Parks

Lloyd R. Parks, 84, of Marietta passed away at 4:10 pm on Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born on September 22, 1929, in Harriettsville, OH, a son of Harry A. Parks and Hattie Johnson Parks.

Lloyd had been employed at B. F. Goodrich/RJF International for 41 years in the Maintenance Department. He was a member of the Lower Paw Paw Church of Christ.

On September 22, 1950, he married Wanda Colerick who survives with 2 daughters: Martha A. Vanoster of Canton and Mary Lee (Don) Smith of Marietta; 3 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters and 5 brothers.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday (Jan. 11) at 10:30 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Tom Tucker officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday one hour before the service. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.lankfordfh.com.
