Bishop David Lee Carlson
Bishop David Lee Carlson, 63, of Marietta passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2015. He was born October 18, 1951, in Youngstown, OH to the late Robert M. Carlson and Helen McCoy Carlson of Massillon, OH.
He was the Pastor of the Marietta Church of God.
On August 28, 1971, he married Elizabeth H. Puddock who survives with one son and one daughter, Reverend James N. (Shannan) Carlson of Ocala, FL and Crystal (Gary) Williamson of Denver City, TX, and 5 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister and brother, Lynette (Tom) Duplain of Canal Fulton and Larry Douglas Carlson of Canton. His father and one brother Curtis Carlson preceded him in death.
Memorial services will be held on Monday (June 22) at 7:00pm at Marietta Church of God, 501 Colegate Drive. McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home is assisting the family and messages of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.Lankfordfh.com.
