Agnes M. Stevens Hubacher
Agnes M. Stevens Hubacher, 90, of Marietta passed away at 9:20pm, Sunday, September 6, 2015, at her home. She was born June 24, 1925, in East Liverpool, OH, a daughter of Leonard and Birdie Tice Fife.
Agnes had been employed at The Anchorage as a nurse’s aide. She was a member of the Open Door Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, Bingo and grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She married Carl Stevens who preceded her in death. Agnes is survived by 4 daughters: Ruby Bryner of Marietta, Martha Winkler of Sugar Creek, OH, Betty Stevens of Marietta and Penny Clark of Marietta, 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 7 great, great grandchildren, daughter-in-law Maudie Stevens Kitts and sister Hazel.
She later married James Hubacher who also preceded her in death as well as her parents, son Walter “Bud” Stevens, 6 brothers and 4 sisters.
Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday (Sept. 9) at Open Door Baptist Church with Pastor Paul Page officiating. Interment will be in Gravel Bank Cemetery.
