Winifred Lucille “Ted” Flowers

Winifred Lucille “Ted” Flowers, 88, of Williamstown passed away Friday, January 8, 2016, at her home.  She was born October 8, 1927, in Marietta the eighth child of Herbert and Pearl Miller Warden.
 
Ted graduated in 1945 from Marietta High School.  On January 28, 1951, she married Donald D. Flowers.  She worked at Fenton Art Glass until her retirement in 1990.
 
Ted is survived by four children:  Michael (Debrah) Flowers of Bethel Park, PA, Pamela (Eugene) Marchetti of Williamstown, Stephanie (T. Jay) Brothers of Burlington, NC, Matthew (Patti) Flowers of Williamstown; 13 grandchildren: Amy (Nathan) Surovi of Bay Village, OH, Laura (Adam) Flowers-Sinclair of Lakewood, OH, Eric (Rebecca) Flowers of Pittsburgh, PA, Nathan (Loran) Flowers of Nyack, NY, Aaron (Amber) Marchetti of Leawood, KS, Adam Marchetti of Kansas City, KS, Amanda (Ricky Rose) Marchetti of Halstead, KS, Alex Marchetti of Williamstown, Bryan (Tammy) Brothers of Greensboro, NC, Katie (Ryan) Dowd of Winston Salem, NC, Corey (Lacey) Brothers of Greenville, SC, Mary (Zack) Lowe of Williamstown, Ryan (Kourtnay) Flowers of St. Albans, WV,  17 great grandchildren, 2 sisters-in-law Ethel Warden of Marietta and Norma Warden of Williamstown.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald, grandson Andrew Marchetti, 7 brothers:  Robert, Harold, Wilbur, Paul, Corbett, Ralph and Lowell, 4 sisters:  Mildred, Elizabeth, Catherine and Marie.
 
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (Jan. 13) at 1:00pm at First Presbyterian Church of Williamstown with Pastor Elizabeth Campbell-Maleke officiating.  Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.  The family will greet friends at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6 until 8.  Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
