Robert E. Dye
Robert E. Dye, 72, of Marietta passed away 4:05 pm Monday February 8, 2016 at Harmar Place.
He was born May 18, 1943 in Marietta to Robert and Garnet Gaynelle (Skinner) Dye. Bob enjoyed working in the concrete business, squirrel hunting, coaching softball and had a strong desire to win the lottery and purchase the Lafayette Hotel.
Surviving are his children Tammy Swilley of Jacksonville, FL, James Dye (Rita) and Shannon Dye both of Marietta. Also surviving are grandchildren Jimmy, Payton and Clayton Dye and a brother Mike Dye and sisters Barbara Westfall and Kathy Strahler.
In addition to his parents Robert was preceded in death by a son Clayton and brothers John and Jim.
