Ramona Jewell Schofield
Ramona Jewell Schofield, 81, of Whipple, Ohio, passed away at 8:00am on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born July 1, 1934, in Whipple to Charles Clifford and Beulah Smith Goodwill. She was employed at B.F. Goodrich/RJF International, retiring after 33 years of service. She was a member of Lower Paw Paw Church of Christ.
On July 3, 1952, she married Jack Dennis Schofield who preceded her in death September 5, 2009.
Ramona is survived by one son and one daughter: Stephen Ray (Marilyn) Schofield and Jacqueline Dawn (Ted) Lauer both of Whipple; grandchildren: Laura, Lynnette and David (Ashleigh) Lauer, Joshua (Stephanie) and Jacob Schofield; 5 great grandchildren; brother Vaughn (Sharon) Goodwill of Portland, OR, sister-in-law Mary Ellen Goodwill, brother-in-law Joe (Carol) Lewis, brother-in-law Joe (Mary) Schofield, sister-in-law Betty Misner, sister-in-law Mary (Dick) Burcher, her dog “Gracie” and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Charles Goodwill, 2 sisters: Deloris Baker and Sharon Lewis; 4 brothers-in-law: Walt Baker, Donald Schofield, Guy Schofield, and Rudy Misner.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday (Apr. 23) at 10:30am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial following in Salem Township Cemetery. Family will greet friends on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 at the funeral home. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
