Leota Miller
Clara “Leota” Miller of Marietta passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016, at The Arbors of Marietta. She was born November 18, 1926, in Fleming, OH, to the late Pearl and Emily Marshall Harvey.
She was a graduate of Vincent High School and had worked at the Lafayette Hotel, Betsey Mills Club and First Settlement Restaurant and retired from the State of Ohio. She was a lifetime member of Post 5108 auxiliary and a member of American Legion Post 714 auxiliary.
She is survived by her daughter, Rosetta Williams of Marietta and her son Rodney (Kati) Miller of Vienna. Leota has 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 2 sisters: Lorena Kimbrough of Coolville and Helen (Barry) Brown of Belpre.
Preceding her in death are her parents, husband Wilbur, 2 sons, Ronnie and Roger Lee and one daughter, Rhonda; son-in-law Greg Williams and daughter-in-law Tina Bannister Miller.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 27, at 11:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home wit burial following in Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5 until 9. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
