Paul E. Bibbee
Paul E. Bibbee, 68, of Fleming passed away 8:26 am, May 2, 2016 at OSU Medical Center.
He was born October 2, 1947 in Parkersburg, WV to Brady and Gail (Burkhart) Bibbee. Paul attended Warren High School until he was drafted into the US Army 82nd Airborne to serve in Vietnam War. After his return to the area went to work for Eramet where he retired from after 36 years. Paul was an avid hunter and loved spending time with his grandkids and doing handy work and was always making or fixing things.
Surviving is his wife of 23 years, Velvet (Atkinson) Bibbee, along with children Paul Bibbee II (Fiancé Erica Vanness) of Harrietsville and Courtney Anderson of Fleming. Paul is also survived by grandchildren Breanna, Zoey, Caleb and Hailey and step-granddaughter Stacy, and sisters Mary Romine (Fred), Dianne Bacak and Connie Petty and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents Paul was proceeded in death by 2 wives Debbie (Gordon) Bibbee and Betty (Oiler) Bibbee, sisters Ellen “Inky” Robinson, Patty Nunn and a brother Howard Bibbee.
Military Rites will be held 3pm Friday, May 6th at East Lawn Memorial Park and a memorial service will follow at 5pm at VFW Post 5108 in Marietta.
