Robert Allen Dailey
Robert Allen Dailey, 77, of Marietta passed away 3:23 am Thursday May 5, 2016 at his home.
He was born October 16, 1938 in Tusquittee, NC a son of Edward “Pet” and Mae (Evans) Dailey. Robert was a licensed minister and had evangelized in Ohio before going to North and South Dakota as a home missionary for 20 years before retiring in 1992 due to health problems. He was a member of the Marietta Church of God and Church of God at Cleveland, TN.
On February 8, 1963 he married Linda Irene Brown who survives daughters Sherrie Lee (George) and Beverly Johnson (Tim) both of Lowell. Also surviving is a granddaughter Tricia Dailey, great grandchildren Allie and Kaleb Jaraucaro, brothers Charles and Harold Dailey and sisters Jennie Henschell and Jessie Brannock along with a several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Robert was proceeded in death by brothers David and Lonnie and an infant brother and sister.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Monday , May 9th at the Marietta Church of God with Pastor Dan Hess and Pastor John Coyle officiating. Burial will follow in Barker Cemetery. Friends may call at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home after 2 pm on Sunday and an hour before the service at the church. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions made be made to the funeral home to assist the family with services.
