Darrell Lee Sciance
Darrell Lee Sciance, 55, of Marietta passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016, at 8:02am. He was born April 20, 1961, to Donald F. and Linda L. Francis Sciance.
Darrell had been employed at the Food Center and retired from Gary’s Towing in January after 26 years of service. He was a loving companion, father, pappaw and brother, who enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, camping and woodworking.
He is survived by his life companion Cheryl VanWey and daughters, Debbie (JR) Sciance, Pam (Aaron) Sciance, Kristin (Isaac) Stout, Linda (Cory) Sciance and step-daughter Danielle VanWey; grandchildren: Brock, Gage, Draven, Ian, Vada, Lilah, Shayla, Coulson, Arrianna, Jordan, Devin and Lanay; brother Steven (Mindy) Sciance; two sisters, Jody (Blaine) Oliver and Nancy (Keith) Snider and special friends, Gary and Linda Caldwell and Richard Shea, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law Bill VanWey.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday (Nov. 5) at 11:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial in Gravel Bank Cemetery. Family will greet friends at the funeral home Friday from 2-4 & 6-8. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
