Verna D. “Amy” Holden
Verna D. “Amy” Holden, 91, of Marietta passed away Friday, December 23, 2016, at Arbors of Marietta. She was born
August 10, 1925, in Marietta to the late Vernon W. and
Beatrice A. Matthews.
She is survived by her son, Stephen A. Holden of Marietta, grandson Jeremy M. (Lora) Holden of Marietta; 2 great
granddaughters, Tori Fuller and Lexi Holden and a very
special friend, Susan Dyar.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Christopher Holden, brother, Harold Matthews and very special friend, Paul L. Curtis.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday (Dec. 27) at 11:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.
