Eileen A. Harris

Eileen A. Harris, 83, of Williamstown passed away at 7:03 pm on Friday, March 16, 2018, at Charleston Area Medical Center. She was born March 6, 1935, in Sandyville, WV, a daughter of Warner and Marie Maddox Treadway.

Eileen had been employed at J.C. Penney’s and Food For Less, was a member of the Order of Eastern Star at Parkersburg, 50-year member American Legion Post 159 Ladies Auxiliary, Ladies Auxiliary of Moose and the First Presbyterian Church of Williamstown.

On December 21, 1957, she married William A. Harris who preceded her in death. She is survived by 2 daughters, Deborah Walker and Doretta (Larry) Burton both of Williamstown; 3 grandchildren: Doug Burton of Williamstown, Jonathan (Whitney) Reed of Indiana, Justin (Tara) Reed of Maryland; 3 great grandchildren and twins on the way. She is also survived by her brother Earl (Katherine) Treadway and sister Thelma Moffett and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Raymond and Irvin Treadway and 2 sisters, Katherine Lowe and Delcie Treadway.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday (Mar. 20) at 3:00 pm at Riverview Cemetery in Williamstown. The family will greet friends at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home before the service from 11:00 until 2:00. Messages of sympathy may be sent the to family at Lankfordfh.com.
