Howard Keith Hoover
Howard Keith Hoover, 89, of Williamstown, WV, passed away March 6, 2011, at his home.
He was born on July 24, 1921, in Williamstown, WV, a son of the late Claremont G. and Edna E. Newbanks Hoover. He had worked for Gabbert Cullet, Fenton Art Glass, Penn Metal and several truck driving jobs. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, cutting firewood and his grandkids. He was a Methodist by faith.
He is survived by his wife, Trinis J. McKenna Hoover whom he married October 6, 1947; one son, Roger K. (Patty) of Marietta; one daughter Trina J. (Doug) Burns of Williamstown; 4 grandchildren: Kelly S. (Eric) Morgenstern, Mark A. Hoover, Trista J. Burns and Stacie M. Burns; one step granddaughter Andrea M. (Ben) Ervin; 5 step great grandchildren: Josias and Curtis Morgenstern, Austyn, Jayden and Lyndyn Ervin; his “pride and joy” Joey the cat, one sister Edith L. Yoho.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 sisters: Flossie V. Barton, Lucy Gladys Hoover, Lillie Estella Miller; one brother Thomas Dillon Hoover.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday (March 10th) at 1:00pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Bishop Dean Thompson and Bishop John Coyle officiating with burial following in Burnt Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday after 2:00.
