Betty I. Wilson

Betty I. Wilson, 78, of Marietta, passed away at 1:07 am on Saturday, February 26, 2011, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

She was born on September 17, 1932, in Warner, Ohio, a daughter of Herman and Goldie Adams Neuberger.  Betty was a graduate of Macksburg High School.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed collecting dolls, working on crafts and flower gardening.

On October 28, 1950, she married Cyril Wilson who survives with 2 daughters:  Marsha (Roger) Quimby of Beverly and Debbie Morrison of Marietta; grandchildren:  Laura Schott, Joshua Quimby, Elizabeth Boersma, Christopher Morrison and 8 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by 2 brothers and 1 sister:  Herman (Helen) Neuberger of Lowell, Charles (Helen) Newberger of Beverly, Doris Coleman of Marietta and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law Ernest Morrison, and an infant grandson.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (March 2nd) at 1:00pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Harold Hoskinson officiating.  Burial will follow at Salem Township Cemetery.   Friends may call at the funeral home beginning on Tuesday at 2:00pm with family will be present from 2-4 and 6-8.
