Kimberly VanWey

Kimberly Kay VanWey, 48, of Marietta, passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2010, at 11:55 am at Heartland of Marietta.

She was born on May 6, 1961, in Marietta, a daughter of Fred and Betty Bloomingdale Burton. Kimberly was a graduate of Marietta High School, Class of 1979. She enjoyed her family and animals.

On September 8, 2004, she married William “Bill” VanWey who survives with stepdaughter Amanda (Kent) Constable, step grandchildren Donavon and Kyleigh; brothers: Lloyd (Karen) Burton, Danny (Marilyn) Burton all of Marietta and Larry (Doretta) Burton of Williamstown; sisters-in-law: Cheryl, Kathleen, Tammy and Lisa and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held on Monday (April 5th) at 11:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Frary officiating. Burial will be in Valley Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home beginning at 2:00 on Sunday with family present from 2-4 and 6-8.
