Randy L. Sayres

Randy L. Sayres, 54, of Marietta, passed away at 12:46 p.m. on Thursday (Nov. 24, 2011). He was born on July 30, 1957, in Marietta, to the late Herman W. Sayres and Shirley Denton Sayres of Marietta.

Randy was a graduate of Marietta High School, Class of 1976, and had attended Washington Technical College. He was employed at several Big Bear Stores in the area for 28 years.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother; Douglas Sayres; sister, Barbara Sayres, both of Marietta; and nephew, Andrew Sayres. He was preceded in death by his father and nephew Robert Sayres.

Friends may call McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home on Monday (Nov. 28) after 2 p.m. with family present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Graveside services to be held at the convenience of the family.
