Dorothy Morrow

Dorothy Morrow journeyed to heaven on July 12, 2025, to square dance with the angels. She was born June 18, 1925, to Clifford and Roxie Irvine. She graduated from Belpre High School in 1944. On March 28th, 1948, she married Donald Edwin Morrow.

She is survived by her three children, Barbara, Dennis, Daniel (Kathryn) and grandchildren, Gregory A. Morrow and Jessica (Jacob) Powell. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donald, infant son Ronald, her sister Kathryn (Joe) Bias and brother Gilbert (Margaret) Irvine.

Dorothy worked as a Warren Elementary cook for 25 years. She enjoyed playing Bingo at the O’Neil Center, quilting, making pies and her famous cinnamon candy, and was a charter member of the Warren Local Fire Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of the Tunnel United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Warren Volunteer Fire Dept. or Tunnel United Methodist Church.

The family would like to thank Dr. Lloyd Dennis and staff and Hospice for their care.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday (July 17) at 11:00 am McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial in Rockland Cemetery. Family will greet friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 and on Thursday one hour before the service. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
