Dewey Edward Schau
Dewey Edward Schau, 88, of Marietta passed away at 5:51 am, Thursday, March 26, 2026 at Lancaster House. He was born on August 7, 1937, in Marietta a son of Dewey and Bertha Schau.
Dewey had been employed as a sheet metal worker. He was a member of Marietta Bible Center.
Dewey married Ellie Science who preceded him in death. He is survived by his sons, Ray (Nora) Schau of Marietta and Roy (JoAnna) Schau of Newport, step daughters, Donna (Mark) Pauling of Pennsylvania and Leah (Eric Noland) Hardman of Marietta; 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, stepson Mike Science and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday (March 31) at McClure Schafer Lankford Funeral Home with burial following in Gravel Bank Cemetery. Family will greet friends on Monday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 pm. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
