Sally Ann Lewis, 84, passed away at Lancaster House in Marietta, Ohio on April 25, 2026. Born on August 6,1941 in Marietta, she was the daughter of Edith Ritchie Wendleken and Hayward Ritchie.

Sally was raised in Marietta and later made her home in Williamstown, where she devoted her life to raising her children and caring for her family.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Juddson “Spank” Lewis; her brother, Thomas; and her granddaughter, Shea.

Sally is survived by her sister- in-law Joyce Ritchie and her children: Juddson “Dean” Lewis (Judy); Rebecca Best (Garry); Deborah Edgar (Doug); and Jeffrey Lewis (Paula). She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Nicole Taylor (Matt- Dawson & Hayes); Brady Edgar (Lauren-Shea, Abbigail, Lucy & Daisy); Bethany Lewis; Ashley Curry (Tim); Case Edgar (Stacy-Samuel & Zoey); Nick Lewis, long-time friend Rena Stewart and several nieces and nephews.

A devoted supporter of Williamstown high school sports, Sally was a familiar face at games. She also cherished her time as a proud band mom and later enjoyed watching her granddaughters perform. She attended countless events, cheering on her grandchildren in nearly every sporting activity.

Sally expressed her love through cooking, a gift she shared generously. On a regular basis, her kids would receive a call inviting them to pick up homemade favorites like chili, chicken and noodles, vegetable soup, or a freshly baked dessert. She offered delivery too. Her warmth extended beyond her family to her church community, where her famous Texas sheet cake was a cherished treat enjoyed by many.

The family extends their gratitude to the staff and caregivers at Lancaster House and Hospice who provided support and guidance during this difficult time.

Sally will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and deep love for her family.

Visitation will be held at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 28th from 6-8pm and also one hour prior to the service(noon)at Marietta First Church of the Nazarene on Wednesday, April 29th at 1pm. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery.
