Jewel A. Walters
Jewel A. Walters, 60, of Marietta passed away at 9:06 pm, Sunday, August 9, 2026, at OSU Medical Center.
Jewel was born in Marietta on October 25, 1965 a daughter of Ben Burge and Clara Freeland Burge. She worked at Wal-Mart in Marietta for 15 years and at Magnum Magnetics.
Jewel is survived by her 2 sons, Ryan (Brennon) Walters and Cory Walters both of Marietta, sister, Judi Burge, special sisters, Crystal Allie and Novelette Wood, special brother Damion, godson Dominick Black and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Tony Burge and her husband Gale D. Walters.
Funeral services will be held on Friday (Aug.14) at 1:00 pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home. Family will greet friends before the service from 11:00 until 1:00. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
