Norma Mae Wallace

Norma Mae Wallace, 83, of Marietta, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2011, at her residence with loved ones by her side. She was born on May 24, 1928, to Chester Robinson and Beatrice Robinson Gray. Norma had been employed by Harts Family Center. She was a member of Cutler Chapel Methodist Church and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

On February 1, 1947, she married Gerald Wallace who preceded her in death on March 6, 2001.

She is survived by her children: Regis (Tammy Britton) Wallace of Marietta, Darlene Chesser of Bartlett and Rhonda Wallace of Marietta with whom she made her home. Four grandchildren: Sheri (Craig) Jarvis of Bartlett, Jason (Sherry) Chesser of Bartlett, Justin (Bonnie) Chesser of Bartlett and Kerri Shartle of Belpre, 9 great grandchildren and one sister, Bessie Mackenzie of Belpre.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her step father Carl Gray, 2 brothers, Robert and Harold Robinson and son-in-law Larry Chesser.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (September 28) at 11:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Reverend Helen Kline officiating. Burial will follow in Tunnel Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday afternoon after 2:00 with family present from 2-4 & 6-8.
