Beatrice “Betsy” Frum Caltrider
Beatrice “Betsy” Frum Caltrider, 82, of Williamstown, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2013, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on May 15, 1930, in Williamstown a daughter of Mary Elizabeth Page Frum and Carlton Truman Frum.
Betsy was a graduate of Williamstown High School Class of 1948 and Ohio Valley College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Management. She was a member of Williamstown Woman’s Club, co-chaired Williamstown Wetlands Preservation, was a member of Musettes and was a member of Gilman United Methodist Church where she created the After School Program.
On April 16, 1949, she married Wade D. Caltrider who survived with 3 daughters: Debra (David) Penrose, of Centennial, CO, Darcie (Stephen) Ash of Marietta, Daryn (Jeff) Deem of Ripley, WV; grandchildren: Elizabeth Penrose (Craig) Beckman, Eryn Penrose, Logan P. (Misty) Ash, Lexi Ash, Ethan Ash, Preston Deem, Parker Deem; 4 great grandchildren: Peyton Beckman, Haston Penrose, Ari Beckers, Addison Ash. She is also survived by her brother Robert C. Frum, sister Barbara Bever, sister-in-law Dorothy Frum and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Darrelyn, grandson Evan Morgan Penrose and brother C.William Frum.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday (March 6) at 12:00 noon at Gilman United Methodist Church with Pastor Diann O’Bryant officiating. Friends may call at the church from 10:00 am until the hour of the service.
