Charles Wilson Groves

Charles Wilson Groves, 79, of Reno died Saturday, March 2, 2013. He was born January 11, 1934 to the late Thomas and Nora (Blair) Groves. He retired from the US Army after 20 years of service and multiple deployments to Korea, Vietnam, and Germany.

He is survived by his wife Sandra Groves; son, Robert Groves; daughters, Becky Sue Davis and Sherrilee Schleining; and son, Samuel Groves; sister, Jennie Belleville; stepchildren: Shari Jones, Lorrie Elliott, Sean Carpenter, Terry Carpenter, Craig Carpenter, Gary Carpenter, Rachel Parra; 21 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday, March 7, 2013 from 11:00am until services at 1:00pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home, 314 Fourth Street, Marietta, OH 45750.
