Margie “Maggie” Belle Farnsworth

Margie “Maggie” Belle Farnsworth, 67, of Lowell passed away at 8:35 am on Sunday, March 10, 2013 at The Arbors of Marietta. She was born on February 9, 1946, at Wade, Ohio a daughter of Shearld “Pete” and Mary Mahela Pritchett Farnsworth. She had been employed at Marietta Convalescent Center and as a caregiver for Dr. George Huston.

Margie is survived by 2 daughters and 2 sons: Derdre (Dave) Lauer of Machias, NY, Karen (Jack Emerick) Mankins of Belpre, Raymond Lee Mankins, Jr. of Lowell, Richard Allen (Jamie) Mankins, Sr. of Waterford; 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchild, sister Edith (Dean) Rummer of Lowell, brother Dale (Palva) Farnsworth of Reno, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and great, great nieces and great, great nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers and 1 sister.

At her request, her body was cremated. Memorial services will be held on Saturday (Mar. 16) at 2:00 pm at Highland Ridge United Church of Christ with Pastor Don Hart officiating. McClure-Schafer-Lankford is assisting the family and messages of sympathy may be sent to them at www.lankfordfh.com.
