Bobbie Lou Kaneff

Bobbie Lou Kaneff, 79, of Marietta went home to be with the Lord at 10:30 pm on Thursday, September 15, 2011, at Marietta Center.  She was born on September 16, 1932, in Owensboro, Kentucky, to David Jason and Clara Elizabeth Murphy Eagleson.

Bobbie was a member of Faith Bible Church in Williamstown and was a homemaker who was devoted to her husband and family.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, David T. Kaneff whom she married on May 7, 1950, and her 5 daughters:  Sherry (Bill) Rhodes of Perrysburg, OH, Peggy (Clyde) Hall of Marietta, Sandy (Jim) Greene of Friendly, WV, Robi (Jerry) Bonnette of Marietta, Kim (Scott) Howard of Marietta; 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and niece Brenda Eagleson Croston.

She was preceded in death by her parents, infant son David Holly Kaneff, brother William “Bill” Eagleson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday (September 19) at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Ray Witmer III officiating.  Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon after 2:00 with family present from 2-4 & 6-8.
