Wilbur L. Buchanan

Wilbur L. Buchanan, 84, of Vincent, Ohio, passed away at 1:00 am on Saturday, June 29, 2013, at The Arbors of Marietta. He was born on October 24, 1928, in Hockingport, OH, a son of Clarence Wilbur and Delphia Pearl Stulter Buchanan. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Korea. He was employed as a machinist at Owens-Illinois, until his retirement.

Wilbur is survived by 3 daughters and 2 sons: Rebecca (Mario) Viglione of Florida, Deborah (Mark) Dunlap of Williamstown, Wilbur Buchanan, Junior of Belpre, Thomas (Tina) Buchanan of Vienna, Susan Barker of Belpre; 10 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Josephine Scarlet.

At his request he was cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home is assisting the family and messages of sympathy may be sent at www.lankfordfh.com.
