Evelyn M. Dennis

Evelyn M. Dennis, 90, of Reno passed away at 3:35 pm on Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at Harmar Place. She was born on August 28, 1922, at Grayingham, Lincolnshire, England, a daughter of Olive Ford Spacie. She was a life member of Valley View Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

On July 22, 1960, Evelyn married William J. Dennis who preceded her in death on September 1, 2009.

She is survived by her sisters: Brenda Copperwheat, Rose Frankish, Mariam (Harold) Hempsall, Joyce Gregory, special niece Pamela (Ian) Miller all of England, nephew Jim (Bonnie) Dennis of Parkersburg, and special friends Roger and Sharon Grose of Reno.

Funeral services will be held on Friday (August 2) at 10:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Beverly Pottmeyer officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.
