    Jessie A. Freeland, 55, of Marietta passed away at her home on March 21, 2021. She was born March 3, 1966 in Orlando, FL to Perl and Lillie Haught Freeland.
    She is survived by two daughters Ashley (Daniel Luke) Farley of Parkersburg and Brittany (Craig Sall) Farley of Marietta, a grandson Keagan Sall of Marietta and sisters Gloria Flesher, Debbie Coughenour and Kelly Holiday. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

    Linda Meeks, 68, of Marietta passed away at her home on Tuesday, March 9, 2021. She was born November 8, 1952 in Marietta to Leander and Louise (Mugrage) Farnsworth. Linda was a 1970 graduate of Marietta High School and had been employed at the Marietta Times until her retirement. She loved horses but especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
    She married John Meeks who preceded her in death on June 18, 2019.

    She was born October 18, 1983 in Marietta to Cheryl VanWey. Danielle was a 2002 graduate of Warren High School. She was employed in retail sales and was a member of Pathway Community Church.

  • Norman Eugene Hendrickson

    Norman Eugene Hendrickson, 78, of Marietta passed away at 6:26 pm, Saturday, March 6, 2021, at his home.
    He was born March 23, 1942, in Marietta a son of Thomas A. Hendrickson and Laurena Carver Hendrickson. He was a member of Labors Local 639 (retired), 50-year member of the Operators Union Local 132 in Charleston. He was also a member of Moose Lodge, Eagles Lodge, and Masonic and Scottish Rite.

    Lowell A. Roberts, 79, of Whipple passed away at 8:30pm, March 6, 2021, at Waterview Pointe Nursing Home.
    He was born April 23, 1941, in Marietta a son of Charles and Mary Matson Roberts.
    Lowell had served in the U. S. Army. He was self-employed in Construction and enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to church and reading his Bible. He belonged to the Apostolic Lighthouse Church.

    She was born October 11, 1945 in Marietta a daughter of James and Ruth Greathouse Clark. Shirley had been employed as a nurse’s aid. She was a member of Williamstown Church of Christ.

    Rebecca Ann Cline, 68, of Marietta passed away at 2:33am, Friday, February 26, 2021, at her home. She was born April 13, 1952, in Marietta a daughter of Russell Dean and Betty Louise Rose Doan.
    Rebecca was a graduate of Marietta High School and employed for 29 years at Washington-Morgan County Community Action in the Head Start program. She loved to cook and try new recipes, collect salt & pepper shakers and Beanie Babies. She enjoyed hosting parties with friends and family. She was a member of VFW Post 5108.
