    He was born January 24, 1958, in Marietta to George E. Kidd and Judie (George) Zimmerman. He was self-employed as a contractor.

  • Larry E. McKitrick, Jr.

    Larry E. McKitrick, Jr. (Tink), 47, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio passed away at his home on February 13, 2021.
    Tink was born on April 13,1973, in Marietta a son of Larry and Vickie Gaskins McKitrick. He was raised by his grandparents, the late Everett and Emma McKitrick. Tink was a 1993 graduate of Marietta High School and worked in construction as a painter and drywall installer. He was an excellent artist and musician and was very mechanically inclined. He also enjoyed racing GoKarts.

    Barry Bradley Nichols, 66, of Beaver, Ohio, passed away at 3:00 pm, Tuesday, February 23, 2021. He was born August 9, 1954, in Parkersburg, WV, a son of Elmer Guy Nichols and Marnella Lenore Cronin Nichols.
    Barry was a 1972 graduate of St. Marys High School and had an Associates Degree in Applied Science and Logistics Management. He entered the U.S. Air Force on 27 July 1972 and served at various Air Force Bases in the United State and Korea in the Inventory Management field.

    Philip G. Covey, 43, of Marietta passed away at 9:08 pm, Monday, February 22, 2021, at his home.
    He was born on November 1, 1977, in Marietta a son of Clarence and Marta Norman Covey. Philip was employed as a laborer. He enjoyed fishing, music and his family.

  • Mary Alice Graham

    Mary Alice Graham 80, of New Matamoras, OH, passed away at Marietta Memorial Hospital on Thursday February 18th, 2021. She was born on August 8, 1940, in Washington County to the late Karl and Janie Eddy.
    Mary attended Lawrence High School. She retired from Frontier School District where she worked as a cook for many years. She was a faithful member of Eddy’s Ridge Church of Christ. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, aunt, and sister. She enjoyed volunteering for several years at Marietta Memorial Hospital. Mary loved all her family and enjoyed the large family gatherings whether it be dinner on Sundays after church services, weiner roasts, or gatherings to celebrate family occassions. She was an avid quilter, gardener, and loved her flower gardens (Roses and Iris)

    He was born March 8, 1938, in Washington County, OH a son of Edward Virgil Eddy and Vera Louise Smith Eddy. Ronald was employed as a truck driver.

  • David A. VanWey

    David A. VanWey, 88, of Newport went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at The Arbors of Marietta. He was born on September 4th, 1932, in Newport Township son of the late Ralph W. VanWey and Mildred P. Bogard VanWey.
    David was a member of the Beech Grove Methodist Church. He was employed by the River Gas Co. until his retirement, April 1989 after 33 years and 6 months service. He also served as Scout Master of Troop 224 of Newport in the 60’s. He held the office of Union Director of Local #999, Clarksburg, WV. He served in the U. S. Navy from 1950 until 1954 and was a member of Moose Lodge #1823 in Marietta. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, hunting and singing Karaoke.
