  • Christina Diane Davis

    It’s with great sadness that the family announce, Christina Diane Davis, 53, of Belpre, Oh gained her wings on May 3rd 2021. She was born September 8th, 1967 to Wayne and Judy Christopher. Christina is preceded in death by her mother, Judy. Christina leaves behind her father Wayne Christopher, her loving husband Pat Davis, her children Hannah and Aaron Anderson, Dillon Davis, and Patrick Davis, Her sister Beth Moyers, her brother Paul Christopher, and her two grandchildren Braylen and Aayan. And her nephew Kenny.
    Christina worked at Marietta Memorial Hospital Psych Unit for many years.

  • Carolyn Becker

    Carolyn J. Becker, 76, of Whipple passed away 2:10 pm on May 2, 2020 at Elmcroft Assisting Living.
    She was born February 15, 1945 in Marietta to the late Clarence E. and Ruth Martha (Hartline) Zimmer. Carolyn was a 1963 graduate of Marietta High School. She had served as the clerk for Fearing Township and with the Fearing Township Volunteer Fire Dept. for many years and had been active with the RSVP program. Most of all Carolyn loved her Lord and was very active at St. Paul’s Evangelical Church where she was a member for many years and had served as a facilitator with the Grief Share Ministry.

    James L. Goodman, 77, of Jefferson, Ohio passed away on May 1, 2021, in Jefferson. He was born in Marietta on October 4, 1943, a son of the late Anna and James R. Goodman.
    James was a veteran of The United States Navy and served during The Vietnam War and was a welder for Caterpillar Corporation. He enjoyed camping, the outdoors and spending time with his family.

    Joseph J. Burge, age 74, of Williamstown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 28, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alice Freda (Piatt) and Harold Burge; sisters Shirley Babcock and Sharon Lauderman and brother Gary. He leaves behind sisters Rita (Bob) Stealey of Belpre and Judy Lane of Brentwood, CA; brothers Fred (Marilyn) Burge of Williamstown and Don (Peggy) Burge of Columbus, along with numerous nephews, nieces and dear friends.

  • Paul Gene Doan

    Paul Gene Doan, 89, of Marietta passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at his home. He was born April 11, 1932 in Lower Salem, Ohio a son of Delbert and Cecile Forshey Doan.
    Paul had been employed as a sandblaster for Marietta Concrete, was a member of International Labor Union 497 and a lifetime member of Putnam Congregational Church. He was a veteran with the 7th Infantry U. S. Army serving during the Korean War.
    On September 8, 1956, he married Leona Pearl Stark who preceded him in death on April 28, 2006.
