    Raymond Anderson, 89, of Williamstown passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born on November 5, 2024 in Berdine, KY, a son of Marian Anderson and Garnett Hanners Anderson.
    Ray was employed by the Army Corps of Engineers. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force for 8 years.

  • Joseph “Gerard” Meunier

    On July 1, 2024 Joseph “Gerard” Meunier (Byrdog) left his earthly body and entered his brand new body to go meet Jesus. Born February 1, 1955 in Nashville, TN to Joseph Gerard Meunier Sr. and Mary Wiggins Meunier.
    In 1987 Gerard married his soulmate Tina Miller Meunier. Together they created a wonderful family. Daughter Teresa Gearhart. Grandchildren Thomas Meunier (Maddie Carpenter), Lexus Adkins (Shay), Sierra (Brennan) Fields, and great grandchildren Zayden and Vaydah. He is also survived by his sister Ellen Deaton, brother Monty Meunier and nieces Becky and Mary Deaton whom he loved very much.

    Jennie was born on March 14, 1962, in Marietta to the late Robert Hasley and Sandra Saffel Hasley Jolley (husband Bill). She was employed as a Nursing Assistant.

  • Frederick E. Bruce, Sr.

    Frederick E. Bruce Sr. of Marietta, OH passed away on June 27, 2024 surrounded by his family under the care of Shrivers Hospice and the Washington County Home.
    He was born on October 18, 1935 in Williamstown, WV, a son of the late Arthur Bruce and Ada Wolfe Bruce.
    He had worked at Fenton Art Glass Co. until the time of his retirement and then began living his best life fishing, hunting and spending time with his family.
    Fred was also a 32nd Mason.
    On May 1, 1954 he married Nora L Sayre Bruce and they were married for 65 years until the time of her death in 2019.

    Debra J Lyons, 67, of Marietta passed away at 4:10pm on Wednesday June 26, 2024 at Marietta Memorial Hospital following a long and courageous battle with cancer.
    She was born June 8, 1957 in Baltimore, MD to Orvel and Ella (Arthur) Metz. Debra graduated from Calhoun County High School and attended Glenville State University. She was employed as a courier for Marietta Memorial Hospital and was a member of the Basilica of St. Mary of the Assumption. Debra had an extraordinary way of connecting with people both near and far; whether it be at work or while traveling, people warmed to her kind and giving spirit.

  • Lottie R Poulton

    Lottie R. Poulton, 100, of Marietta passed away at 8:14 pm on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at Harmar Place surrounded by her family. She was born August 7, 1923 at Altus, OK. to Clemie Braylock. She was a homemaker. Lottie was known as grandma to all. She liked to play Bingo and loved farm animals, especially baby calves and chickens.
    On October 31, 1942 Lottie married Lloyd H. Poulton, Sr. who preceded her in death on October 9, 1992.

  • Treva Lott Mossack

    Treva Lott Mossack, 85 of Devola, went to heaven to join her parents, son Brad and grandson Joshua on June 23, 2024. Treva was born on September 19, 1939 to Frank & Fay (Craven) Lott and was raised in Lowell, Ohio. She married Don Mossack on April 25, 1958 at the Lowell Christian Church. They were blessed with two children. Surviving is daughter Cathy Mossack Beaver who brought her husband Jeff to Treva as her ‘favorite’ son in law, sister Betty Lott Forshey (Paul) , her grandson Chad Beaver (Jennifer) her granddaughters Jansen Tebay (Casey), Jessica Fitzgerald (Matthew), her great-grandson Isaac Beaver & his mother Maureen & great-granddaughter Valleigh Tebay, and great-granddaughters Kailin Mahaney, and Laila and Ariann Ankrom.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Virgil L. Lott, and her son Brad preceded her on June 6, 1998.
    Treva was an alumnus from Lowell High School, graduating with the class of 1957. Treva was on the committee that hosted the alumni class reunions for many years. She started her working career in Beverly as an employee of David C. Myers, DDS as a dental assistant. After moving to the Marietta area she worked as a secretary at the Washington County Farm Bureau’s Nationwide Insurance.
