    Linda S. Baker, 67, of Marietta passed away at 4:00 am, Sunday, November 29, 2020, at Harmar Place.
    She was born December 27, 1952, in Portsmouth, Ohio, a daughter of Shirley and Patricia Dadosky Thompson. Linda was a graduate of Marietta High School, Class of 1971 and was a homemaker.

  • Charles Thomas Seevers

    Charlie or Tom, (he was known by either name), was born on February 13, 1937 in Marietta, Ohio to Hilma and Harry Seevers.
    He graduated from Marietta High School in 1955 and soon began working at American Cyanamid, where he eventually became a Chemist. He retired after 37 years after which he returned as a consultant. He earned his realtor’s license and owned and operated CharMar Realty. He was Manager of Cedarbark Apartments from his retirement until 2019.

  • Darrell William Rummer

    Darrell William Rummer passed away 11/28/20 in Marietta Memorial Hospital after contacting Covid 19.
    He was born on December 3 1, 1946 and lived most of his life in Marietta, Ohio.
    He attended Marietta High School and after graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Army in May of 1968. He took missile training before being sent to Okinawa, and later he served in Korea as a dog handler. In 1973 he re-enlisted and was stationed in Kitzingen, Germany.

    Joyce Ann McMahon, 67, of Marietta passed away at 7:30 pm, on Saturday (Nov. 28) at Harmar Place of Marietta.
    She was born on November 21, 1952, in Marietta, a daughter of Ervin and Opal Kuehn McMahon. Joyce had been employed as a nursing aide.

    Timothy M. Gossett, 51 of Marietta passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2020, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
    Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2020, at 10:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Gravel Bank Cemetery.  Family will greet friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8. Masks are required as well as social distancing.   • Delbert William Weber

    Delbert William Weber, 100, of Marietta passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020, at his home in Elmcroft of Marietta. He was born May 15, 1920, in Marietta, a son of Harry and Helen Weber.
    He was a 1938 graduate of Marietta High School and was an accomplished violin player. He met the love of his life and on July 25, 1941, married Berneda Mae Walters of Marietta. He joined the U. S. Army in the Corps of Engineers and served in World War II for the entirety of the War in the European Theatre.

    Geneva Hunter, 104, of Reno passed away at 6:53 am, Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at The Arbors of Marietta.   She was born May 6, 1916 in Pennsboro, WV a daughter of George and Edna Ferrebee.
    Geneva had been employed at Montgomery Wards for a number of years, and then at Nelson Drug and as a hairdresser.
