    Randall F. Day, 66, of Marietta passed away October 9, 2020 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

  • Deborah (Debbie) Sue Grahame Seevers

    Deborah (Debbie) Sue Grahame Seevers 59, of Newport, Ohio passed away peacefully at home, October 8, 2020.
    She was born April 24, 1961 to the late Tom Grahame and Janet Grahame of Newport, OH
    Debbie had left her job in April of 2019 from the Washington County Sheriffs Dept. / Jail as head cook for 23 years due to her illness. Debbie always said it wasn’t a job for everyone but it was a job she loved and wanted to make it to 25 years so she could retire and spend more time with her family and Grandsons. She had also worked at Woolworth’s and the Betsey Mills Club dining room as a cook.
    She enjoyed enduro racing “007” where she took home many first place trophies. She also loved to play “penny keno”. But, anyone who has known her knows how much she enjoyed her grandkids “the boys” they were the light of her life next to her daughters.

  • Samuel D. Gorham, Jr.

    Samuel D. Gorham, Jr., 45, of Marietta passed away at his home on October 8, 2020. He was born in Marietta on January 9, 1975, a son of Samuel D. Gorham, Sr. and Violet Mary Quick Gorham.
    Sam loved everyone. He enjoyed walking, playing with his nieces, shopping and EYH Trips with friends. He never met a stranger.

  • David “Big Dave” Byron Binegar

    David “Uncle Dave” Bryon Binegar, 74, of Newport, went to be with the Lord on October 7, 2020 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. His wife of 49 years stood beside him and provided exceptional loving care every step of the way.
    David was born in New Matamoras on October 4, 1946 to Kenneth and Verna (McPeek) Binegar. He graduated from Lawrence High School, where he enjoyed playing basketball. David worked on oil wells, at Fenton Art Glass and retired from Independence Township as a trustee.

    Carol Thomas, 81, of Marietta passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, after a long battle with Parkinson Disease. She was born September 30, 1939, to the late Ralph and Mary Young Hays.
    Carol retired from Marietta School System in 1998 after 25 years of driving school bus. She enjoyed bowling seamstress work and she loved to travel.

  • Lody Eva Dunn

    Lody Eva Dunn, age 93, passed away on October 5, 2020 at Crystal Care Center of Mansfield, Ohio after a long battle of Parkinson’s disease. She was born in Toronto, OH February 14, 1927 to the late Charles and Elizabeth Ridgeway.
    She was married to William E. Dunn in St. Clairesville, Ohio. They were the Owners and Operators of the well-known Bypass Lounge/Restaurant in Ravenna Ohio.

    Sherry S. Hutchinson, 66, of Belpre passed away at 6:00 am, Monday, October 5, 2020, at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, OH.
