    Harry “George” J Hall, 68, of Wingett Run, Ohio passed away with cancer at 10 am Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born November 16, 1955 in Marietta to Harry Edward and Violet L (Kuhn) Hall. George had been employed by Fouss Construction.

  • Tanja Leigh Brooks

    Tanja Leigh Brooks, 63, of Waterford passed away at Marietta Memorial Hospital on June 18, 2024.
    She was born March 28, 1961 in Weston, WV to William and Mercedes (Banks) Self. Tanja was a 1977 graduate of Fort Frye High School and for over 15 years she operated a daycare in her home where she treated all the kids like her own. She also had worked as a bailiff for the Washington County Court and later as an In-Home Health Care Worker for RHDD. Tanja was a cheer and dance coach for many years, including with Waterford Elementary School and hosting clinics at her home. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who do anything for her family. Tanja’s greatest joy in her life was being able to spend time with her kids and grandkids.

    Lawrence “Larry” Franklin Dawson, Jr. went to be with his Lord and Savior in the wee hours of June 8, 2024, at Marietta Memorial Hospital surrounded by loved ones.
    Larry was born July 20, 1952, to Lawrence “Jeffy” Franklin Dawson, Sr. and Betty Lee (Jackson) Dawson. He served in the US Army from 72-74. He worked at Elston Lumber and delivery for Smitty’s pizza.

    Mark E. Offenberger, 62, of Lower Salem, Ohio, died Wednesday, June 6th, 2024, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born on November 19, 1961 in Marietta, OH, the son of Maggie South and Edward Offenberger.
    He graduated from Waterford High School. He is retired from Laborers Local Union #639. He loved hunting, fishing, the Cleveland Browns, and spending time with his family, especially his 3 grandchildren.

  • Steven Cooper

    Steven L. Cooper of Fleming, Ohio died on June 5, at Marietta Memorial Hospital with family at his side. Steven was born in Marietta Ohio on August 5, 1954 to Roy and Marjorie Cooper.
    Steve graduated from Marietta High School in 1972 and attended Marietta College. Following several years of working construction, Steve became employed at Marietta Memorial Hospital and continued his education to become a respiratory therapist. Prior to a brief illness Steve lived life to its fullest. He always dreamed of sailing the world. He loved his music and his pets. His golden doodle, Lilly was always by his side.
